Since I was a child, I've been fascinated by cinema, spending countless hours in the video store or movie theaters of Bilbao, where I was born and raised, mesmerized by the stories of Billy Wilder, Alfred Hitchcock, and Steven Spielberg.
After many years dedicated to screenwriting, directing, and producing, with a career that includes several short films that have participated in more than 300 national and international festivals, I decided to found the production company Orlok Films in 2023, specializing in fantasy and horror films. Some of my work since then includes my latest short film as a writer-director, NO HAY QUE HABLAR CON EXTRAÑOS (DON'T TALK TO STRANGERS), which has accumulated nearly 40 selections, thirteen of them official, on the acclaimed Méliès circuit.
I'm currently preparing the feature films #ELRETO (#THECHALLENGE), a horror film about the danger of viral challenges in found footage format; ALUMBRAMIENTO (DELIVERY), a horror thriller about a locust invasion in Madrid; ZARZA (BRAMBLE), a family drama that addresses ETA terrorism in a fantastical way and MOMMY WILL ALWAYS PROTECT YOU, a teen horror film with touches of black comedy.
